  21. Both the 4SK and 7SK are great choices; however, I would opt for Rossi's
  22. new DV6S - an all-terrain ski with a slalom sidecut:

  24. The 4SK is considered the most successful racing ski of all time - used
  25. as the benchmark for many high performance skis; favored by both racers
  26. and non-racers alike.

  28. The 7SK is Rossi's maximum performance slalom ski and used by racers like
  29. Alberto Tomba, Paul Accola, and Vreni Schneider.  This board is known for
  30. its edge grip, precision, and quickness.

  32. Now for the DV6S sales pitch . . . .  *Supposedly* this is the ski of
  33. choice for Rossi ski racers when they're just yahoo'ing down the slopes
  34. and not competing.  This ski rides real quiet when just cruising, but
  35. responds immediately when you want to turn (carves with precicion in
  36. SL and GS types); it has awesome edge grip (result of the "diagonal
  37. variation effect", DVE, Rossi's version of the mono[bloc,coque] 
  38. construction); the ski also handles well over varying terrain.  The DV6S
  39. has a sintered racing base, LIS (low inertia system) tip for lower swing
  40. weight, and a primo graphic covered with their new durable Rossitop.
  41. If it sounds like I bought a pair . . . I did!  And, I am more than pleased.
  42. The only drawback is having to sit in my office, thinking about making turns,
  43. rather than getting to do it!  The skis also passed the *acid-test* during
  44. our ski patrol annual toboggan certification last weekend (had to ski the
  45. steeps, ice, crud, and some packed powder with a patient in the sled).

  47. I honestly think you would be delighted with the DV6S - an all-terrain ski
  48. with a high-performance feel.
