- I have taken lessons at Killington almost every time I've gone (for more
- than a day trip). I think that Killington has pretty good instructors. The
- only problem with the classes is the way they group you. I don't think the
- "ski off" gives the people splitting you into groups enough information to
- group people of the same skill. I have never had a problem with the groups
- I've been in. I have always ended up in a group with people who have been
- skiing MUCH longer than I have (2 years), but my father always seems to end up
- in a group that is too slow. I've skied with 5 different instructors. I liked
- all but one of them. My father had at least 7 different instuctors. I think he
- was satisfied with all of them. Three of the people were really outstanding.
- Some of them really care about their students and go out to their way to help
- them. For example, the instructor my father had on our last trip spent one
- evening shopping for new boots with one of her students because she thought the
- boots he had were not good for him. She also loaned him a pair of her ski pants
- because he showed up to class in a pair a jeans.

- If you are planning to spend a week at Killington I would recommend taking a
- Mountain Week instead of regular lessons. Mountain Weeks are taught by better
- instructors and the groups are smaller than for regular lessons. The lessons
- are also three hours a day instead of two and you get video taped. I've only taken
- regular lessons but I plan to do a Mountain Week in March.
-
- Happy Skiing!!!!
