- I don't quite see the point of having ratty plastic sheet on top of
- one's own skis : like glueing some ratty plastic wrap on a new
- car or leaving plastic bags on new furniture, or wrapping new shoes in
- protective vinyl galoshes, or wearing new suit with dry-cleaning bag
- on top to preserve it from dust. Of course, eventually you can pass
- all these objects to your children in pristine condition, they'll
- appreciate it ...
