  27. Cervinia is certainly a must both for the slopes and for the landascape.
  28. You can get there by bus or by car.

  30. If you want to use the train I strongly suggest to move to the neighbourings
  31. of the French border. If my memory doesn't fail, you have an IC train from Milan
  32. to Lyon, France every morning at 7.30 or so.
  33. In a couple of hours you can reach some of the most exciting slopes in the alps.

  35. If you get off at OULX, you can ski in the "Via Lattea" (Milky Way) ski domain, which
  36. includes Sauze d'Oulx, Cesana, Sestriere, Sansicario, Claviere and Montgenevre (France).
  37. You will find hundreds of Kms of slopes and ski for days without taking twice the same
  38. lift. Many of the slopes are equipped with artificial snow "cannons". 
  39. Try the "Kandahar" World Cup Super-G slope!

  41. If you get off at BARDONECCHIA (last stop before the border), you will find two 
  42. domains (Colomion :1300-2600m) and Jafferau (1300-2800m), with 140 Km. of slopes, some
  43. of which are very challenging. (On Jafferau you can test the women's dowmhill track
  44. for 1997 World Champinoships, or ski without stop from 2800 meters to 1300).

  46. The same train will bring you back to Milan before midnight.
