- I have a pair of P9 SL's and a pair of P10RS (as-well-as K2 Extreme
- and Salomon 9000 Exp's).
-
- The "mystique" is that they are formed from a block of very high
- quality wood that _has the camber of the ski carved into it_. Other
- skiis are made by _pressing the wood into the desired camber_. I
- think this makes the ski very lively - they literally explode from
- turns - and precise. They also last and hold their camber much longer
- than other skiis.
-
- The VP19 Vario was retailing for about $750 and was $550 on the pro
- form this year - bummer!
