  19. Weather at time of obs.: Snowing lightly 
  20. Snow level: 2500 ft  
  21. New snow depth:  4 in very dry powder  
  22. Elevation of observation: 3800 ft (base)  
  23. Winds: 30-40 mph from south  
  24. Avalanche hazard: severe, South Back Country closed  
  25. Lift lines: 1-3 min 
  26. Wax: all-temperature, cork buff, brass-wire brush   
  27. Traffic: none  
  28. Chains required? no, but advised on Crystal Boulevard (except 4x4)  
  29. Comments: 8 inches from Sun 12/20 plus 4 in from Mon 12/20 night gave 
  30. good-very good conditions.  Very windy.  Poor visibility at times.
  31. North Back Country very good.  Paradise Bowl and Powder Bowl - 4 star.
