- SCENE: Loveland Basin Ski Area, at the Chair 2 reload (basically
- a halfway point on the lift where you can get ON but not off).
-
- EVENT: Boarder, out of control, comes up a small rise and BANG,
- lands his board edge first, across the skis of a ski patroller
- waiting for the lift. Looks up and says, "uhh, sorry".
-
- JOKE: (told by the Ski Patrol guy, who, all in all took the event
- with good humor).
-
- Q: "How does a snowboarder introduce himself?".
-
- A; "SORRY, DUDE!"
-
- Out of control boarders are annoying. Most boarders I've seen this
- year on Colorado slopes have been in control and polite. Our
- skiier/acre density out here is much lower than back east.
