  12. SCENE: Loveland Basin Ski Area, at the Chair 2 reload (basically
  13. a halfway point on the lift where you can get ON but not off).

  15. EVENT: Boarder, out of control, comes up a small rise and BANG,
  16. lands his board edge first, across the skis of a ski patroller
  17. waiting for the lift. Looks up and says, "uhh, sorry".

  19. JOKE: (told by the Ski Patrol guy, who, all in all took the event
  20. with good humor).

  22. Q: "How does a snowboarder introduce himself?".

  24. A; "SORRY, DUDE!"

  26. Out of control boarders are annoying.  Most boarders I've seen this
  27. year on Colorado slopes have been in control and polite.  Our
  28. skiier/acre density out here is much lower than back east.
