- Oh no!, Boarders should never go in the trees. OK only a select
- few who have been fully indoctrinated, but make sure you ask me
- first so I can make sure it's safe. :-)

- Seriously if anything I feel more confident in the trees
- on a board than on skis, I'm at about the same skill
- level in both. The board rides higher in the snow
- and the ability to rotate at the waist I think gives
- a boarder a certain level of increased control. Kind
- of like the ability of 1/2 pipe riders to land an
- aerial facing just about any direction. I've been
- boarding with a group of skier maniacs and was normally
- able to lead in the trees. Some of the lack of boarders
- in the trees probably gets back to the experience level
- of the average boarder.
