- I've been skiing on my new Rossignol Mid 7s for about 10 ski days.
- I'm in love! My previous boots were Salomon SX 71 Rear Entrys. Now
- that I'm making the transition from Intermediate to Advanced skiing, I
- find I've got a lot more control and better fit with these
- mid-entries.
-
- The walk position is really handy for getting around the
- lodge, and is a good rest while riding the lift. There are times that
- the boot jumps back into ski position before I want it to, but that's
- just a minor annoyance.
-
- I would have preferred that buckles to be micro-adjustable. You can
- rotate them one full turn, but this seems to be to big of an
- adjustment. It feels like four turns is the equivalent of one notch.
-
- These boots have a flex adjustment that has two settings: no flex and
- almost no flex. There's also an adjustment for cant. There's a
- "power strap" of Velcro that goes around the tongue and outer boot.
-
- I'd recommend these boots for advanced intermediates through experts.
- You may also want to look into the Rossi Mid 9s if you're an expert.
- The Lange boots may have a better tongue than the Rossi's, check that
- out also.
