  12. To provide a reference file for rec.skaters and also to eliminate some of the
  13. repetitive postings, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) file is posted every 
  14. month.  The FAQ is cross-posted to news.answers with a 1 month expiration time
  15. to make it as accessible as possible.

  17. Additionally, FAQ files of all USENET newsgroups are available via anonymous 
  18. ftp from pit-manager.mit.edu in the pub/usenet directory.  The rec.skate FAQ 
  19. should be in the rec.skate directory.

  21. The FAQ file is not intended to discourge debate on topics listed in the 
  22. FAQ, but merely to show that they HAVE been considered by the readers here.
  23. If you have something significant to add to the subject, then feel free to 
  24. post.
