- In New South Wales, Australia, we are required by law to have an ocky. I've
- dived in Queensland where the rules are a bit less restrictive and I've
- noted there to be a bit of a slack overall attitude up there. I was
- ridiculed for having a reg, and ocky and a BC that worked! The guy doing the
- talking had a reg only, and a leaky BC.
-
- I refuse to dive with other than a full set of gear, and I also refuse to
- dive with anyone not similarly equipped. I guess I don't wanna die, and I
- don't wanna be around when anyone else does.
