  42. The original poster's problem was financial.  Thorsten is in Germany. 
  43. He makes (and pays for) a call to England to get rec.roller-coaster.  If
  44. a bunch of images are posted, it costs him money *before* he even knows
  45. what they are.

  47. Those of us at big sites with direct leased-line connections to the
  48. internet don't realize that some people really do pay of every character
  49. we type!

  55. Well, there's *no way* you'd ever get a rec.roller-coaster.pictures
  56. group to pass.  That's a pretty safe bet.

  58. You could always create alt.binaries.pictures.coasters, but anyone could
  59. get that could also get alt.binaries.pictures.misc, so there's nothing
  60. gained there.

  69. I vote YES.  For those of us who get everything, it's no big deal to hop
  70. over to alt.binaries.pictures.misc and snag the image.  And we don't
  71. make those paying big bucks to get rec.roller-coaster pay for things
  72. they may or may not want or be able to afford.
