  13. With regard to the Chemical Kiloton Experiment, I saw a news item the
  14. other day that mentioned that the Chinese used 12,000 tons of
  15. conventional explosive to demolish a small mountain to make room
  16. for an extension to a helicopter airport last week.  One wonders why they
  17. couldn't just put it somewhere else - after all, helicopters
  18. don't need long, straight runways or anything.  Perhaps they have
  19. been monitoring this newsgroup for too long :)
