- With regard to the Chemical Kiloton Experiment, I saw a news item the
- other day that mentioned that the Chinese used 12,000 tons of
- conventional explosive to demolish a small mountain to make room
- for an extension to a helicopter airport last week. One wonders why they
- couldn't just put it somewhere else - after all, helicopters
- don't need long, straight runways or anything. Perhaps they have
- been monitoring this newsgroup for too long :)
