- Time to scare you. Burning Teflon is a dangerous pastime,
- it's actually more dangerous than a lot of nerve gases.
- When it burns it degrades into isobutylidene fluoride,
- which is at least as toxic as HCN and passes through all
- known gas masks. In addition, it forms a second undefined
- aerosol which is significantly more toxic than the nerve
- gas VX.

- about two years ago and confirmed for me by a military
- intelligence officer who specialized in chemical warfare.
