- Does anyone know of a good source for pre-made "model" rocket engines?
- There's always ESTES corp...but their prices are high...even for
- quantity.
-
- The ESTES B-6-2 engine makes great flash-bang rockets. Simply scrape
- away some of the clay from the parachute ejection side of the engine
- and fill the empty space in the rocket motor casing with flash. Cap off
- with a 1/2" plug and glue, attach a stick, balance, insert fuse, and
- launch. Fun Fun....great altitude, impressive report, reliable
- performance.
-
- However, it's expensive...about $1.00 each for the engines...I'm looking
- for CHEAP solutions.
