- This isn't quite a munitions plant accident but some fool here in San Antonio
- was cutting a hole in a 3000 gallon gas tank. He thought the container was
- empty and had supposedly been fume tested. Well, it wasn't. The explosion
- blew out windows and doors in a 5 block radius (about .75 km) The cutter was
- uninjured(what a miracle) but the trailer and truck that the tank was on
- was pretty well destroyed, i.e. all the glass was gone and the cab was badly
- bent. The tank was knocked off the truck while one end of the tank was
- launched as a projectile, tearing a big hole in the roof of a quonset-type
- building.
-
- A joke I made up of this accident is:
-
- Did you hear about that guy that caused the explosion? Yea, he blew away his
- ENTIRE LEFT SIDE!!! Don't worry, as he is all right now ;*)
