  10. I (should? can? will?) perhaps add that isopropyl alcohol is toxic.
  11. Not terribly so, but neither would I happily drink any quantity of
  12. it.  Much like wood alcohol (methanol) in toxicity, I believe.  Not
  13. good for the brain or eyes.

  15. Should you show up at a hospital apparently having drunk any quantity
  16. of either methanol or isopropanol, you'll most likely be kept drunker
  17. than imaginable for the next few days...

  19. If low toxicity is desired, I'd definitely go with ethanol (EverClear,
  20. 151 rum, polish vodka, ...) or possibly some sort of easy-to-ignite
  21. vegetable oil.  (Any suggestions?  All the vegetable oils I'm familiar
  22. with burn rather sootily.)
