  13. I'm suprised no nitpickers have yet pointed out that the Earth's atmosphere
  14. refracts the sun's light, so that, even if the Earth and sun were stationary
  15. relative to each other, the sun's true position would be below the horizon
  16. when it appeared to be just above it.
