- Several years ago, Martin Gardner wrote a puzzle/math problem column in
- Scientific American. Several of the columns dealt with the number 4.
- He presented variations of two 4's, three 4's, and four 4's with mathematical
- symbols to equate numbers from 1 upward. For example: 4 x 4 x 4 = 64

- At one time, he published a long list of these equations. Does anyone
- remember them or know where they may be published in a book.
