  11. As a kitten, our now ~8 year old tiger cat Whiskers became attached to
  12. our semi-labrador dog Adrian, who died recently.  Whiskers always
  13. followed Adrian everywhere, worried when he was missing, comforted him
  14. during the long illness, and is now quite disconsolate.  My son and
  15. daugher-in-law live in an adjoining apartment and have just acquired a
  16. new (3 month? old) puppy, and we thought Whiskers might bond to her,
  17. but when we try to arrange a meeting, Whiskers hides.  Any ideas?
  18. Sprinkle catnip on the puppy?
