- The most finicky cat I ever had was Biscuit, an orange Maine Coon Cat
- I took care of for 9 months while his person went to England.
- About the only thing Biscuit would eat were steamed smelt. He loved these,
- and to see him standing over his bowl, gnawing on one of these 4-6"
- fishes, was a real joy. He would also eat liver cooked in butter and cut
- up into cat-bite sized pieces and that was about it.
-
- In the 9 months I had him, I managed to partly wean him onto commercial
- cat food but he never cared for it, eating only certain flavors and then
- not with any particularly heart-warming relish.
-
- I suppose other people have had to deal with finicky cats. Might be fun to
- hear your stories. At least those whose cats eat anything and everything
- will be able to read the postings, smile smugly, and realize how lucky they
- are.
