  20. Well...my fiance and I had just moved into our first apartment together and we
  21. had previously decided to get a cat...so of course in the first week we were in
  22. the new apartment I started begging to go to the humane society and just *look*
  23. at the kitties...I promised we didn't have to get one..we were just *looking*
  24. (yeah, right! :-)) Anyway we were looking at all the little kitties, when this
  25. 10 week old Tuxedo kitten boldly pushed it's paw through the cage and "waved"
  26. at us...she had a rather indignant look on her face...as if to say "Can you see
  27. they're holding me PRISONER!?!?!?!?" Well needless to say SHE picked US :-)
  28. ANd come to think of it...she still owns us...Zeb is very opinionated and
  29. I still think she was being on her best behavior at the shelter so we would
  30. take her home. ;-) But personally I love her the way she is...mean and cuddly.
