- There is a very friendly stray running around my apt. complex that I feed
- on occaision, as do others. I have thought about bringing him to a
- shelter. All of the no-kill shelters in my area are chock full. That
- leaves bringing him to a pound, or humane society which do euthanize
- animals after a certain amount of time. He would probably get adopted (he
- is extremely friendly and affectionate), but there is always the chance
- that he wouldn't. Wouldn't I be putting him in danger of being killed by
- bringing him to a shelter? Its obvious that he is not lacking in food, and
- he must have a nest or something to keep warm in. Isn't running around
- free better than being killed? I really don't know what to do. This is
- something that is really starting to bother me. I didn't think of this
- until the declawing vs euthanasia discussions started. Any thoughts on
- this out there?
