  14. I am new to this newsgroup or any newsgroup for that matter.  I have a
  15. Silver-Shaded Persian named, Cindy.  She is going to be 10 years old
  16. on March 16.  
  17.  
  18. I have a couple of concerns.
  19.  
  20. 1.  I was reading about cats and pregnancy.  Some of you were talking
  21. about litter boxes and the disease toxo......  To find out more information
  22. one should read FAQ.  Well what is FAQ and where can I get a copy.
  23.  
  24. 2.  Cindy's fur is very long and I realize that it is probably too late
  25. now to start training her, but when she uses the litter box she does not
  26. quit finish her job and she is gone leaving her mess hanging in fur.
  27. She never covers her mess when she does stay in the litter box.  Does
  28. anyone else have this problem?

  30. 3.  Cindy is our only baby.  My husband and I are planning to start a 
  31. family in the new year.  But I am afraid that Cindy will not take to kindly
  32. to a baby.  She hisses at children anytime they come near her and to my 
  33. knowledge the children have never done anything to harm her.  I will 
  34. certainly never get rid of Cindy because of a baby, but you hear so many
  35. horror stories where "cat has smothered baby in crib"....etc..
