  13. Hi all,
  14. I know that many cats love water and like to be around to lick up the
  15. remains in the shower, or drink out of the toilet etc. but my cat
  16. seems to be completely obsessed with water!
  17. Everytime I turn on the tap, Sydney runs, leaps and bounds up onto the
  18. counter and stares like he has never seen it and then meows pitiously
  19. when I don't turn on the water often enough! I left the kitchen tap
  20. dripping in a small steady stream the other day to see what would
  21. happen and he got in the sink and stood under as tho he was taking a
  22. shower! :) it was mighty cute and he would lick from the top too.
  23. Now what I am wondering is, is this normal? I mean, he didn't used to
  24. be like this (he is 5 mos old, male, not neutered yet, and I know he
  25. is part tabby, but we think he is part siamese cause he talks all the
  26. time, and has the body shape of a siamese). Anyway, he insists on
  27. fresh water EVERYTIME he wants a drink (which is quite often) and
  28. which becomes a pain. Would it be worth it to invest in one of those
  29. water feeder things? And what do I do about the sink. I don't want him
  30. to get into the habit of being up there all the time ( well, actually
  31. I think it is too late for that, he is there all the time now
  32. anyway...) What seems weird is that he didn't used to do this. It has
  33. only been in the past month or so that he started being so obssessive
  34. about the water.

  37. (btw..he isn't dehydrated or constipated..as a matter of fact, he had
  38. diarhea the other day)
