- I have left my two "children" while on vacation for up to a week
- several times. I leave them at home because I learned after a
- few times at the vet's kennel. It really freaked them and it
- took them a while to get back to normal. When I leave them at
- home they do just fine. I leave them lots of food and water and
- have a neighbor/friend come by and check on them periodically.
- They have a kitty door so they go in and out when they want.
- They are always fine when we (my husband and myself) get back.
- Happy to see us for about five minutes and then back to normal!
- However, if where you're going has no pets and you're going by
- car (mine are HORRID car travelers), why not take them? You
- make the call. :)
