- (when he was just a young bunny)
-
- He was exploring the apartment, and he ran in and out of the bedrooms etc.
- Then he discovered what a DOOR was. One bedroom door was closed, and bunny
- was running down the hall, full speed, cornered left and WHAM!, he bonked
- himself on the door. We cracked up at this slapstick (poor bunny...)
-
- Well, now he knows what doors are.
-
- Another misfortune that was kind of funny:
- bunny hops around on the sofa, when he's with us. He often jumps up onto
- the top, back ledge of the sofa, and runs along it. There is a gap between
- the back of the sofa and the wall. Sometimes there are pillows or newspapers
- and stuff shoved up there, and he hops accross, and loses his footing, and
- slides down the back of the sofa, down to the floor. We were worried
- the first time this happened, esp. since he slid down with his front paws
- up first, and we could see the worried, puzzled look on his face as he
- slid down, down down. Now, it's mildly amusing, because we know he doesn't
- get hurt, and it looks kind of silly. Sometimes he falls down when the
- path is clear and he can see and feel what is solid; I think he's
- losing his agility.

- >out of her cage. Well, Dumbo hops in to investigate, and sticks her nose
- >right up to the nozzle. Sluurp!! One of her long ears got sucked around her
- >face and right into the vacuum! I quickly shut it off and pulled her ear out
- >of the hose. She just shook her head and hopped off like nothing had happened.
- >And she still attacks the vacuum.
- >Probably the funniest thing I've ever seen her do was in her litterbox. She
- >likes to flop over on her back and roll around in the litter (gross!). Well,

- >flat on her back squirming, trying to get upright. I was laughing so hard I
- >couldn't even get up to help the poor thing. She finally managed to right
- >herself, and was positively covered with litter.

- >the boxes at the very back of the closet. She had somehow gotten on top of all
- >the junk in there, made her way to the back, and fallen in! I had to take
- >everything out of the closet (no small task!) to rescue her.
- >She also likes to climb up on the back of our pappasan chair and do a balancing
- >act along the top. As was inevitable, she fell off the back. I was expecting
- >this big gray lump to hit the floor, but no body appeared. Instead, I just
- >saw bunny legs dangling from the back of the chair. She was holding on to the
- >back of the chair with her front legs, and swinging back and forth. She got
- >several few good swings in, too, before gravity won out, and she finally
- >thudded to the carpet.

- >Are there any other folks out there with bunnies as crazy (or daring) as this
