- As I wrote in my previous article (Hussites), after Jan Zizka's death the
- Hussites were divided in two: extremist Taborites (Ultraquists) and
- more moderate Orphans. The Orphans, which were the larger part, finally
- made treaty with the Emperor and Pope, whereas the Taborites fought on to the
- bitter end and were finally annihilated in the battle of Czesky Brod.

- The Russian Gulyai Gorod ("The Walking City")... Yes, The Russians and the
- Teutonic Knights did employ it, as did later the Germans themselves
- (Wagenburg or "wagon castle"). They do, indeed provide safety from small arms
- fire and cavalry, but they can be overwhelmed with steadfast infantry and
- ridiculously easily shot into smithereens by cannon fire.
