  22. Yes, the gut response is: "A&S competition", but there is an inherent
  23. problem with this... who determines who the winner of competitions are?
  24. Judges.  In fighting (and, unfortuneatly, only in fighting), the
  25. person in the armor is the one who calls the blow.  That means that in
  26. order to not win at crown tourney, you personally have to admit defeat.

  28. This goes a long way to preventing any griping afterwards.
  29. Yes, there is the occasional "he has a rhino" comment afterwards,
  30. but, that is mostly not does by the people who admitted defeat.
  31. They decided to call it quits, for whatever reasons.

  33. Any other competition (so far), relies on everyone's faith in the
  34. objectiveness of judges...  a shakiy thing in a society of people who
  35. simply don't have to play....

  37. Anyone know of another way to get non-fighters on the thrones without
  38. any (or even very little) griping?  Please tell us!
