  16. Good gentles, I have developed a strong and sudden urge to learn
  17. more about the textile arts, particularly spinning, carding and
  18. weaving.  I am in need of sources for spinning wheels (preferably
  19. kits, as I would at least like to finish it myself) and carders,
  20. and titles of books which take one through the process from
  21. cleaning the wool through carding and spinning, through dyeing. 
  22. There are classes on weaving taught at the local University.  My
  23. goal is to produce a hand-woven cloak by next winter.  I have
  24. already been offered next spring's shearing from a co-worker's
  25. pet sheep, and since this is an agricultural area, an adequate
  26. supply of wool will be easy to obtain.
