- I must agree that quite often it is difficult to convey the proper meaning
- through mere words. That's why I put religion in quotes. So maybe I should
- say that there are some people, myself included, who find no need for a
- formal religion because of some of the aspects the SCA provides, such as
- a sense of community and a set of moral guidelines. However, there are plenty
- of others who have strong beliefs in formal religions as well as participating
- in the SCA.

- No, the SCA could never be a formal religion, since many of its participants
- have a wide range of beliefs. I agree that brotherhood is a better term to
- describe the SCA.
