  19. George Roos made FSI engines until the late 70's.  We thought they had bad
  20. QC THEN as far as rated vs. actual performance.  Then Lonnie Reese started
  21. making his engines himself, to improve QC, but they got worse.  The first
  22. meet at which FSI engines started seriously catoing was NARAM-19 in 1977,
  23. but I don't remember whether Lonnie had switched over yet or not.  Since
  24. Lonnie died, his dad and his brother Larry have been making them, and they
  25. haven't improved.  At best, they're a crapshoot these days.
