- George Roos made FSI engines until the late 70's. We thought they had bad
- QC THEN as far as rated vs. actual performance. Then Lonnie Reese started
- making his engines himself, to improve QC, but they got worse. The first
- meet at which FSI engines started seriously catoing was NARAM-19 in 1977,
- but I don't remember whether Lonnie had switched over yet or not. Since
- Lonnie died, his dad and his brother Larry have been making them, and they
- haven't improved. At best, they're a crapshoot these days.

- Temperature cycling is sufficient to make them cato, but not always
- necessary.

- Whatever was last published is still real, by definition. I believe
- all of them were on there at last glance.
