-
- THis has happened to me once, fortunately it just meant the plane rolled
- off the end of the runway into grass. I traced the problem to dirty
- switch contacts.
-
- The problem very much sounds like intermittent contact between the
- battery and the reciever; either connectors or the switch itself.
- Especially if you mount the switch in the fuse side.
-
- It sounds to me as if the toss shifted the switch/connectors/battery
- enough to break contact, and the resulting 'landing' jolted them
- back again.
-
- I would at the minimum: Clean the switch contacts, if you can, and
- also the connectors (if you can, again). If you can't get at the
- switch innards or anything, spend a few bucks for another switch
- harness. After all this is done, jiggle everything, including
- the whole plane, while a helper smoothly moves the sticks. This
- will help you find an intermittent connection, hopefully.
-
- Also - do the same for the transmitter... Shake it around a little
- bit and see if you can get it to not respond... It is possible
- the antenna connection is loose, or the RF deck in the back of
- the box is loose.
-
- At any rate... Good luck!
