- According to my sensei many years ago, if someone is drunk or drugged you
- have to be very careful trying to apply "pain" techniques. Most people
- who learn nikkyo to an initial level of competence are depending heavily
- on that pain. Sensei said that sankyo was much better, especially for
- escorting a drunk out of a bar, since it has a higher proportion of direct
- physical control regardless of pain.
