  11. My wife just gave me a beautiful old French poster by Faria
  12. (Affiches Faria, Paris) featuring a juggler named Orla.
  13. The poster probably dates from ca. 1900, judging by the artwork.
  14. The elegantly tuxedoed Orla performs four tricks in the poster:
  15. 1) juggling chair, stool, and newspaper (on a stick, as in a library),
  16. 2) juggling table, lit candle, and candlestick,
  17. 3) juggling cup, saucer, coffeepot and platter while seated, and
  18. 4) tossing top hat to top of cane balanced on forehead.

  20. If anyone has dates or other information about Orla, please let me know;
  21. I don't have Zeithen's book or any other historical material.
