  13. First, rec.hunting is moderated and here is the "official" charter:

  15.    Charter: rec.hunting is to cover all aspects of hunting excepting the
  16.    moral arguments about the nature of hunting.  Various topics include
  17.    equipment, tactics, regulations, and just about anything else.

  19. Note that all arguments about the morality of hunting will be
  20. rejected.

  22. Most systems automatically send news to the moderator of the group (if
  23. any).  However a few systems don't.  To send posts directly to
  24. rec.hunting, mail them to
  25.  
  26.         hunting@osnome.che.wisc.edu.

  28. Second, there is also a mailing list version of the group.  People on
  29. the mailing list receive each day's posts through email.  The posts
  30. are sent in a digest format which means there is one note that
  31. contains all of the posts.  Also, the digest is in standard form and
  32. many machines have built in "undigestify" commands.  However, don't
  33. ask me how to undigestify mail on your machine because I don't not
  34. know.
