  13. Growing up in Central Texas of German-Czech extraction, I miss
  14. the Scheutzenvereins. There, the whole family would come and 
  15. target shoot at the local range often run by the Sons of Hermann.
  16. (A fraternal org. of descendants of thoriginal German settlers
  17. of Texas. Barbecue, beer and singing by the Saengerrunde would
  18. occur too. They still exist, but not near ($%#@#) Interstate 95.
