  14. I think if you had to choose one state as representative of the U.S.
  15. as a whole you could only choose California.  It has 30 million people
  16. from most parts of the world, is by itself a top 10 global economic
  17. power, has lovely beaches and mountains, and the great city of
  18. San Francisco.   And at least we don't all speak in twangy voices
  19. and listen to Garth Brooks.
