- Then why not move from rec.humor to rec.serious? Lighten up. There is
- a large body of humor which is based upon languages being inadvertently
- massacred by non-fluent speakers. When you have a chance, have a look
- at the sit-com "'Allo 'Allo". The "British Idiot Who Thinks He Can
- Speak French" is a riot.

- Also, keep in mind the bemusement we obtain from listening to children
- speak. We find it "cute" when they make mistakes, and funny when they
- inadvertently commit a double-entendre.

- BTW, my french is attrocious and I live in a largely french speaking
- area. I get quite a few sniggers and chuckles myself, but have no
- problem laughing along when my fault-pas is pointed out and explained.
