  31. Then why not move from rec.humor to rec.serious?  Lighten up.  There is
  32. a large body of humor which is based upon languages being inadvertently
  33. massacred by non-fluent speakers.  When you have a chance, have a look
  34. at the sit-com "'Allo 'Allo".  The "British Idiot Who Thinks He Can
  35. Speak French" is a riot.

  37. Also, keep in mind the bemusement we obtain from listening to children
  38. speak.  We find it "cute" when they make mistakes, and funny when they
  39. inadvertently commit a double-entendre.

  41. BTW, my french is attrocious and I live in a largely french speaking
  42. area.  I get quite a few sniggers and chuckles myself, but have no
  43. problem laughing along when my fault-pas is pointed out and explained.
