  35. OK, I'll grant you that's a point.  Mind you I don't know of any Indians here
  36. at BSU who get called Ali Baba, but it's a point.  And as an Asian, you would
  37. be offended by the name "Gook".  I understand that too.  Such names are
  38. insensitive and offensive indeed.

  40. However, I can detect nothing offensive (except, as I've said, to the sexually
  41. prudish) in this story.  It was not posted with malicious intent (else he would
  42. have posted the nationality of the guy who made the funny statement), so let it
  43. rest.  This group has seen its share of flames about this, and god knows why
  44. I'm involving myself in this one, but here I am.
