- Trudy and Nanook the eskimos were planning their annual trek
- from Alaska to Washington state when Nanook heard some startling news
- over the Russian radio network.
-
- Nanook: 'Trudy, I don't think we'll be able to make it, Rudy the
- weather man predicts freezing rain'
- Trudy: 'Oh, I can't believe you are falling for that. It must be
- some kind of propoganda to scare people out of having a
- good time or something. Look outside, it's clear skies,
- sunny, let's pack the car'
- Nanook: 'OK honey, but I don't know...'
-
- They pack the car and get to be early for the long journey in
- the morning.
-
- The next day they start off, get 60 miles from home, and it
- starts. Before long, the roads are too slick to travel, and Nanook and
- Trudy are stuck walking to find a motel for the night.
-
- Trudy: I suppose you were right, maybe we should have
- stayed home.
- Nanook: Well, Rudolph 'the red' knows rain dear.
