- I was recently cleaning out some of my -really- old mail/news folders,
- and came across this joke which I subsequently showed a female friend
- of mine. She thought it was great, and was wondering if there was more
- like it. I have no idea where this "The Rules" things came from, as
- I have no header/signature or any other attribution. I won't post the whole
- thing I have, just in case this joke "belongs" to someone, or whateer
- other legal problems may exist.
-
- An excerpt of the "joke"...
- "
- THE RULES (*)
-
- For those of you who don't already know, these are the rules that are in
- effect in every relationship.
-
- 1. The female always makes the rules.
-
- 2. These rules are subject to change at any time without prior
- notification.
-
- 3. No male can possibly know all the rules.
- ----------------------------------------
-
- 4. If the female suspects that the male knows all the rules, she must
- immediately change some or all of the rules.
-
- 5. The female is never wrong.
- --------------------------
-
- ...[parts 6-14 deleted]...
- "
-
- Incidentally, if there is more to this piece (I have "rules 1-14")
- I would appreciate it if people could forward me the balance. If anyone
- recognizes the source of this piece, I'd appreciate that too...so I
- can maintain the proper attributions. If anyone wants this piece, I'll
- be happy to mail it to them...and offhand, if anyone feels like adding
- to this 'rule book', that might prove interesting as well.
-
- Anyway, if anyone has any jokes like this, or knows where I can get some
- (be it a book, or whatever else...I'm perfectly happy in buying a
- book, if someone coud point one out) I'd appreciate it very much. I
- think she'd enjoy reading more of this kind of joke :)
-
- Replies, preferably by mail, although posts are ok too.
- If replies are posted, I'd appreciate it ify ou would maintain the
- subject line (with a possible "Re:") so I can scan for it.
-
- Thanks again.
