- One trick I've found [to help simplify the cleanup task] is to
- spray that silicone seal stuff on the brasswork after having
- polished it to within an inch of its life. Auto wax will work
- fairly well, too. Don't get something that cannot be scrubbed
- off, but if your new BP pistol has lots of brass this will make
- it clean with ease, and will remain brighter longer to boot.
