  12. The blue plastic 7.62 NATO cartridges are short range practice cartridges.
  13. Upon firing the "bullet" breaks away from the "case" at the slight groove
  14. or step and proceeds down the barrel. The blunt shape and light weight
  15. cause it to slow down rapidly, but it's lethal at close range. Similar
  16. cartridges are available for 9mm, 5.56mm, and .50 BMG.
