- The blue plastic 7.62 NATO cartridges are short range practice cartridges.
- Upon firing the "bullet" breaks away from the "case" at the slight groove
- or step and proceeds down the barrel. The blunt shape and light weight
- cause it to slow down rapidly, but it's lethal at close range. Similar
- cartridges are available for 9mm, 5.56mm, and .50 BMG.
