- Correct me if I'm wrong, but in my leafing through a recent
- Winchester Powder catalog, I seem to remember noticing that Win 296,
- Win 785, and Win 680 are no longer listed as current Winchester Powders.
- I am less certain about Win 296 than the other two.
- Hence, I would assume that normal production of these powders has
- ceased. Personally, I use Hercules Blue Dot these days for my magnum
- loads anyway. I think that the deletion of 680 is a tragedy (although
- Accurate Arms has a powder (1680) which may well be close (or the
- same)).
