- Seriously though, I owned an *early* Mini-14 back when they first
- came out (pre raunch rifle), and my memory is that the trigger and accuracy
- were significantly (read: "orders of magnitude") better than the later
- production Mini-30 I used to own. The Mini-30 had the worst trigger
- pull, bar none, of any rifle (centerfire or rimfire) which I have ever
- fired. It is possible the Mini-30 I got was a dog I guess. What did
- Ruger *do* to screw up this rifle (cost cutting production measures?) so
- badly?
