- I've got three sets of Hornady New Dimension dies in 32-20, .308
- and .357mag. They are "good stuff" with three exceptions.
-
- 1. The locking collet for the decapper/expander ball rod must be
- TIGHT or it will slip. Get some good fitting wrenches and
- put a healthy amount of torque on the lock nut.
-
- 2. The allen screws on the locking rings are pure %#)$. Get new
- ones.
-
- 3. The sliding sleeve bullet seater will sometimes pull out of the
- seating die body. ARG! But it hasn't happened lately, perhaps
- I finally cussed at it enough. Note, only the .308 dies had
- this problem.
-
- After getting a set of Bonanza Benchrest Dies in .223 I won't buy
- anything else. They are, in my opinion, the best screw-in dies made.
