- Not a Good Idea. It *will* trash your spring-piston airgun, and not
- necessarily "over time".

- Try to look for chamber lubricants that don't tend to diesel as much,
- and after lubing (say, maybe once a year or so, unless it *really*
- needs it sooner), store the rifle muzzle-down overnight to let excess
- lube run out.
