- Of course, there is always the venerable .50 BMG... However, I earnestly
- wonder (or should I say: am annoyed) how few American shooters seem to know
- the fine .338 Lapua Magnum that has been specially designed for long-range
- precision work. Superior to both .300s you mentioned - and it's a *factory*
- cartridge, too.
