- I would tend to doubt the spray and pray approach was used that
- much. I do remember that the .50 sharps was the weapon of choice
- for the union sharpshooters and I believe I've read that they
- picked off mainly officers from about the 500-1000 yd range.
- I'll be at my fathers house for the holidays and check it out in
- his library.
